iPhone halo boosts mobile networks
iPhone sales in the UK have seen a significant increase since January. According to new reports, O2 and Carphone Warehouse have both confirmed a peaked interest in the iPhone since January. This newly found interest in Apple’s hottest product stems from a major advertising campaign and the introduction of new tariffs for the UK market.
An O2 spokesperson confirmed that the interest and excitement over the iPhone has begun to grow and that the new O2 tariffs have it on a “more level playing field” with other phones. The new plan from O2 gives users triple the amount of minutes and double the texts on the iPhone than what was previously offered.
